I'm bored. It's raining outside and I have my hair done for no reason at all. Any hopes of doing anything tonight have been foiled. Nothing else but to study. I guess it's a good thing or that's just me trying to find the good in such a lame day. okay, I'm dont complaining.

Drained.

School is in full swing and I'm still not used to it. It's my entire life right now. I spend more time at school than at home. Just finished three tests this week, and now one more to go for next week plus all my assignments. AHH.. a little more than one more year and I'll hopefully be a RRT by then. wish me luck..lots of it.=)

126Day of Birth.

Twenty-Three. ehh.. blahh! that's how I feel. I'll be young forever. For a few years now it's been a thing to go to Hooter's for my birthday. =) I love it. This year I think we're doing something else. No matter, it'll be fun fun. =)I feel like I should be further than I am in my life, but I'm still young and there's a lot in store for me, and I can't wait. This semester of school is in session and my mind is into it. I hope it stays this way. This semester is going to be the toughest yet, which I've been saying ever since I've attended this school.

V922:I have the greatest man. He's banned me from receiving any packages at the house LOL. I hate surprises so I always listen out for the UPS man. I've nagged him enough to give me one of my gifts. ahah! They're these Steve Madden Veronna Boots that I've been wanting. yay! He also entered me into the UGG Boot Nation, which is so helpful with this weather. There are other packages that I was unable to intercept so I have no idea.. =/ His birthday isn't until 9/5 but I already know what I'm getting him. Men are so easy. I made a favorite list to put what I want on there because I want it all LOL.

TheList: Chooka Hello Kitty rain boots/Twilight Edward Key chain (LOL)/Sweaters/Calculator-after 7 years mine finally stopped working/Laptop charger/That light to go off in my car/Owl City,Lights concert tickets BR/regular socks/Alice in Wonderland OPI Polish Collection/Someone to develop only some of my pictures because I always want to choose all of them and there's thousands..literally./These dresses from Express.

Terrible Two: My niece turns two next week. She looks so innocent, but she's so sneaky. She's such a quick learner and a dare devil. I don't know any kid that climbs a couch and dives in head first into a play pin... I lke to watch. haah! [don't worry, we've put support on the bottom] She can count a bit, and she knows A-B-C! Let's see how this year is going to be. We're going to be able to have nice conversations. LOL I still don't know what to get her.. she has it all.

[on another note] : Houston was fun and when I get my camera back I will post what I have. =)

a loft Hotel Houston Galleria.

This is my last weekend before my school semester begins, and since I really have no other break from school in the year, we decided to plan a last minute mini trip. Houston here we come. We leave Saturday and come home on Monday. Were staying at this really cool new hotel called A loft and it looks beastly if I must say so myself. It's located in the Galleria area and the price is decent. 100 bucks a night pretty nice right?? BUT! we can do better. LOL! Priceline.com has this thing called "Best Deal: Name Your Own Price" and that's just what we did. It's a chance of getting a hotel of however many stars you decide (in our case three) and then you name a price. I named $40.00. =) It was accepted, and guess where we're staying!? At the a loft hotel for more than 50% off the hotel list price. So we're staying here for two nights at the price of one. Pixi, my dog is coming also. There is no fee for pets, and the hotel even offers pet beds, bowl, and treat; all compliments of the hotel. They even offer "special" parking for those driving Hybrids. This will be cool. If anyone has more information on this hotel I'd love it. More money for shopping!!

Here are some pictures of the inside.

[Do you see why I'm excited to stay here?]

saving time and money

so on my spare time I like to look for deals on the internet because everyone knows you can find it cheaper somewhere else. =) My favorite websites for deals on designer items whether it be clothes, jewelry, accessories, home items, etc.. are the "online outlet" websites. These sites are awesome. Almost everyday there is a new sale from a new designer. They stay open for a couple of days, then a new designer goes on sale. Pretty sweet right!? Today for example Gucci accessories are on sale, you just have to shop right when it opens to get the hot items. Almost all the notable namebrands go on sale sometime or other. They even had CL shoes on sale at one point for ultra low prices compared to the $800.00+ price tag in the stores. Anyways, my favorite websites are: www.Hautelook.com, www.Gilt.com, www.Ruelala.com, www.ideeli.com If you use my email, in the "who referred you" section, you will get a credit towards your first purchase, and when you make that purchase, I will get a credit. You can do the same and let the money savings continue from one shopper to another. Happy Shopping.

what awaits us...

Colder weather and thinner TVs:
It's cold out now and it's just going to get colder. I'm one for the winter wardrobe, but when I have to wear two plus layers of it, I'm less of a fan. My cold was 50-60 degree weather, but now its 30-40's and it's a big difference. I think I actually miss the humidity messing with my hair and skin. Enough of that, I was reading on CNN.com [http://www.cnn.com/2010/TECH/01/06/lg.flatscreen/index.html]today about LG's new flat screen television that is as thin as it gets (for now). This TV is thinner than 7 millimeters thick, and we know the thinner it is, the more expensive. This TV is so new, there is no name, so of course, no price either, but you and I know it's going to be well in the thousands of dollars. Money and technology go hand in hand and the more we spend on these items, the better they'll get. What I want is a total entertainment system that is cord free. I don't like messing with all that untangling, unplugging, and plugging. I don't even want it hiding in my walls. So let's hope the tech-y gods answer my prayers.

back to basics.

I guessed maybe I'll come back to true blogging again. I can't sleep, and this is going to kill sometime instead of laying in bed, watching Law and Order: SVU, and listening to him snore. (I'm still watching the show though.) I'm sure I'll be on here more since the school semester is about to begin along with the sleepless nights. Not that I'll be slacking or anything, this will be my outlet to just get my mind off of school so that I don't fry out. Seven classes along with clinicals; the sound of it just scares me. It's not like high school anymore. I fail one, I fail all and it terrifies me. School begins on Wednesday and I hope I'm ready for it. The pressure is on. Game face.

[ Everytime I click next blog, I get a blog of recipes and I love it. ]

In the meantime,

We went to Jackson Brewery for the New Year's countdown and to watch the Fleur de Lis drop. Then, we headed down the street to Harrahs. Masquerades in Harrahs was packed for the New Years Celebration. It was awesome! [I had no camera =( but Lisa did!!]
